We are an all-ages establishment. If they are 8 years or older, they can throw axes!
Throwers must be at least eight. Ages 8 to 17 need a parent or guardian present.
Children of all ages are welcome to watch from the lounge.

Axe us anything
Is it safe, especially with a bar?
Safety is our main priority. Every session starts with a WATL-certified coach, a technique demo and a safety briefing. Our axes are not sharp to the touch, and our coaches are trained to monitor axes being handled appropriately.
House rules: one axe and one thrower per lane, axes are never handed over, closed-toe shoes only, and NO TUI (Throwing Under the Influence). Intoxicated guests can't throw.
I've never done it and I'm not strong. Will I look foolish?
All the fun in axe throwing is it's all in your form, not your strength. Your coach teaches you the technique and runs a variety of exercises and mini-games.

Can I bring my family?
Yes. We're a family friendly venue and we welcome children of all ages to watch. Children must be at least eight years of age to throw, with no exceptions due to insurance requirements. Children between the ages of 8 and 17 must have a parent or guardian present. Foam axes are available for kids who struggle to stick a real one.
Isn't this just a bachelor party thing or a loud bar?
We are an all-ages establishment. Bring your kids, let them hang out in our lounge and play table games, or give them some quarters for classic pinball.

Do I need a big group?
No. There's no minimum group size, so singles and couples are welcome. You can book 1 to 12 individual tickets online, or a private lane for 2, 3, 4 or 6 people.
How far ahead do I need to book?
Reserve your lane ahead. Online bookings close 2 hours before start time. Inside 2 hours, call (727) 235-0453. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are highly recommended, so reserve your spot now to ensure a lane is available for you.
Arrive 15 minutes early for sign-in and the briefing. Everyone signs a waiver.
How much is it?
The fully coached Hatchet Hangout Experience is $35 per person for groups of four or more, $40 for three, $45 for two and $50 for a single thrower, plus tax, fees and tip. It includes a dedicated coach, two reserved targets and a private experience.
What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes are required. No high heels.
Is there food and drink?
Beer and wine, including hyper-local craft beer from breweries within 10 miles. You must be 21+ to drink. Outside food is welcome.
Where do I park in St. Pete?
Limited parking on site and additional paid street parking. Ride sharing is highly recommended!
